Six Flags Roller Coaster Reveal
In 2010 and again 2011 Six Flags came to me with a problem. They wanted to capture the excitement of a new roller coaster announcement and extend that excitement and buzz over a longer period of time.
The result was the Puzzled app, a Facebook application that was positioned as a jigsaw puzzle on parks business page. Only fans who had “liked” the park’s Facebook page could take part in the puzzle. Every day these fans were given the opportunity to remove another puzzle piece. Spread over the course of 10 days this application increased the fan count and media buzz about the new attraction.
Six Flags Volunteer Project
This is a socially responsible contest app that encourages fans to take part in Six Flag’s Project Six Volunteer day work by entering them in to a drawing to win part passes when they pledge to do community work on that day and post a picture of the work they did.
